Frequently Asked Questions
Will CBD products make me high or intoxicated?
No. By federal law, all CBD and cannabinoid products must contain less than 0.3% THC, which is the ingredient that is attributed to causing a euphoric high. All CytoCx products are third party tested to verify that no THC is detected in the formulation, apart from the Full Spectrum oil which contains the legal trace of less than 0.3%.
Will CBD show up on a drug screen?
Every drug test has a different sensitivity, and usually test for THC. If you expect to be tested, we encourage you to not use the Full Spectrum CytoCBD product, and only use the THC Free products featured on our site, which are third party verified to not have any THC detected.
Is CBD legal in my state?
While CBD is federally legal across the country, you may check with your local jurisdiction to verify any restrictions.
Where does the CBD in CytoCx come from?
In order to control the quality of our product, we produce our own hemp in our farms located in Eugene, Oregon. These plants are organically cultivated to produce healthy cannabinoid portfolios that are free of contaminants, pesticides, and heavy metals. CBD and other cannabinoids are extracted from our own organic plants, raised in Oregon.
What is the best product for me?
It really depends on what you are looking for. The Broad Spectrum oils provide relief in many ways, and if you aren’t interested in a sublingual oil, softgels are a great option. Both products are third party verified to be THC free and have high absorption CBD that can be beneficial for many applications. If you have a more specific goal, the topical cream and roll on is good for spot pain relief and the Good Night oil is formulated for sleep health.
How do I take CBD oil?
We encourage users to take one full dropper of oil under the tongue, and allow to sit for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, swallow any residue that may remain, and make sure to take daily. The best time to take oil is in the evening before bedtime.
Can the topical products show up on a drug screen?
No. Our topicals are third party tested to verify that no THC is detected.
What is the best dosage form to take?
CytoCx products are formulated to meet the consumer where they prefer. While sublingual oils have become popular, our water-soluble softgels are easy to take and just as effective.
Are there any side effects of CBD?
Studies show that CBD is very well tolerated overall, with some patients reporting nausea. It is important to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any CBD product to assure of no drug interactions. You may also schedule a consultation with one of our Pharmacists for guidance.
What is the maximum dose of CBD that I can take?
We do not encourage consumers to take any more than 200 mg CBD in sublingual oil and no more than 2 softgels.
